WHY CRADLE-TO-GATE MATTERS

At Proliant Dairy Ingredients, sustainability starts with transparency. We partnered with THG Eco MyCarbon, an independent sustainability consultancy, to complete a verified cradle-to-gate Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our VersiLac® whey permeate.

This assessment measures environmental impact from raw material sourcing through production: capturing the emissions we control and providing credible data for our customers’ ESG and Scope 3 reporting.

Following ISO 14067 and ISO 14040/14044 standards, MyCarbon independently verified every step, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The results cover Scope 1, 2, and relevant 3 emissions at our Melrose, MN and St. Johns, MI facilities.
